To use the wifi select HSD Guest as the network. There is no password required.
We have created some places where you can access wifi in our parking lots. In the CES parking lot, it’s in the back by the cafe. At the A. L. Hutson, it’s in the parking lot from where the doors open toward Rebel Dr. We will add the HHS parking lot by next week. We have a wifi map on Facebook. Watch our Facebook Live at 1 pm tomorrow for more details.
Notice: The school Chromebooks we are handing out are still CIPA(Child Internet Protection Act) compliant. We will continue to get notifications about cyber bullying and viewing explicit content. Please use the Chromebooks appropriately.
The Governor just extend the on-site instruction closure through the rest of the school year. The AMI and digital learning will continue through the end of the year.
Forgotten your password? Email tech@highlandrebels.org for a password reset. Most phones have email capabilities. For elementary students you may check with their teacher first.
To sign on to a Chromebook you have to have an internet connection. If you are waiting on internet, please be patient. We will have more details for you on that tomorrow.

Middle school students- You need to start checking your emails regularly. Your teachers are beginning to send you messages. If you do not have access right now, make sure you start checking when you do have access. Many phones have the ability to check email.
Just for clarification- Today was the last daily meal. There will be no meal delivery tomorrow. Food box pickup will be weekly on Mondays from 11-12. It will begin this Monday (April 6) and be at the same locations we have been using.
As much as we would love to give Chromebooks to all students, that is not possible at this time. We have prepared Chromebooks for those who responded to the survey or their teacher that they did not have a laptop or desktop at home. We cannot take additional requests at this time
MEAL CHANGES
We are transitioning from the daily meals to meal boxes to reduce exposure. Meal boxes will be delivered on Mondays at the same time to the same locations we are currently using. Chromebooks will be available at these locations on Monday as well.
CHROMEBOOKS
If you have responded by survey or told your teacher you need a Chromebook, we have one ready for you! Pick up may be done at the central office. Pickup times are Monday – Thursday 9:00 am - 2:00 pm. All pickups need to be made next week if at all possible.
Elementary school and middle school AMI work for days 11-15 was mailed out today. We will collect all AMI work when we return to school. If the closure is extended, we will send out additional information about the collection of AMI work.
Daily meals will resume again tomorrow! We are adding a stop at Agnos Church of Christ. For a complete list of meal locations visit https://www.highlandrebels.org/article/221832. If you are UNABLE to make it to a meal drop location, contact us at 870-856-3275 tomorrow morning.
Spring Break is ending and learning at home will continue. Students in Highland School District should complete AMI work labeled Day 8, Day 9, and Day 10 for Monday -Wednesday.
With the extended school closure, the District WILL be providing student meal services starting March 30 through April 17. Continue to watch for updates over spring break.
Family food bags were included with student meals today. During spring break, a one-time family food bag pick-up will be available on Wednesday, March 25, from 11:00-12:00, at the same locations as this week.
Thank you to school personnel and community volunteers for preparing, packing, and delivering student meals and family food bags this week!
Gov. Hutchinson announced today that all Arkansas public schools will remain closed for onsite instruction through April 17 due to the increasing spread of COVID-19 across the state. We will be sending updates next week about how instruction will continue for Highland Students.
