The Highland School District will be open for on-site learning the week of January 10, 2022. District operations will resume as normal.
The Highland School District has risen into the High-Risk category for known Covid 19 infections according to the ACHI website. The Highland Covid 19 Mask Policy states that if the district is in the High-Risk category that masks will be required. The Highland District will begin requiring masks for all students and staff starting on Monday, January 10, 2022, until further notice. The Highland School District will use AMI days on Thursday, January 6, and Friday, January 7, due to the rising number of Covid cases within the District. District campuses will be closed to on-site instruction. Students should follow AMI plans. All district activities will be postponed on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. The Highland School District has fallen into the Moderate Risk category for known Covid infections according to the ACHI website. The Highland Covid 19 Mask Policy states that if the district falls from the High Risk category into a lower category that masks will be recommended. The Highland District strongly recommends that all students and staff continue to wear masks. This will be effective starting Monday, January 3, until further notice.
