
All of these students have placed in art competitions this year, and many of them have works moving on to the state level!
Bradley Luke was selected out of 400 applicants to represent the sixth grade division at the Young Arkansas Artist's Competition held by the Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts.
NEA Regional Competition, the following students placed: Skyler Weaver (5th grade, 1st), Jenna Dunn (5th grade, 2nd) Melissa Downey (6th grade, 1st), Desmond Vindiola (6th grade, 2nd), Deborah Arthur (7th grade, 2nd), Breanna Patton (7th grade, 3rd), Kylee Sheets (7th grade, placed 2nd in 8th grade division), Coley Rogers (8th Grade, 1st) and Joseph Ojeda (8th grade, 3rd). All first and second place winners will go to state!
Through a Child's Eyes Competition with the ASU Museum: Angel Laster (8th Grade, 1st), Haley Ramsey (8th Grade, 3rd), and, not pictured, Abby Claxton (7th Grade, 3rd). If you know these kiddos, or see them at school, brag on them!!!

The Junior High Quiz Bowl team had a very successful year - after placing 1st in the NAEC invitational and 3rd place in the 2022 AGQBA Junior High Regional Tournament, the team advanced to state finals competition in Arkadelphia on Saturday, March 5th.
