We would like to welcome Mrs. Rebecca Mize to Highland. She will be teaching Oral Communications and ELA at the High School. Mrs. Mize earned her BA from Harding Univ.
Student Council members met this morning to discuss issues for the upcoming school year. Ms. Helm and Mrs. Carter are the SC sponsors for next year. Expect great things from this organization.
Highland High School would like to introduce Julie Sandy. Ms.Sandy earned her Bachelors of Arts in History from Lyon College in 2007 and her Masters of Arts in History from ASU in 2010. Ms. Sandy will teach English and History at HHS. Welcome Ms. Sandy to Highland.

Kindergarten Registration is set for April 16-18 from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.! Please bring your child, their immunization records, birth certificate, and social security card. The child must be five on or before August 1, 2019.

Come out and visit Treasures of the Ozarks in downtown Hardy this weekend. HHS students will have artwork for sale. Their booth will be open Saturday from 9-5 and Sunday 10-4.

On October 24, students attended a Young Voter's Workshop in Little Rock, AR. They learned about the history of suffrage in America, the primary voting system, and toured the Capitol Building.
