Welcome to Highland School district

Student Safety

At Highland School District we make the safety of our students a top priority. We thank our school based mental health professional, resource officer, and high school administrators for their immediate response to a potential threat on Tuesday. The incident was handled swiftly and the person was immediately removed from our campus. We appreciate local law enforcement for always assisting in the protection of Highland Schools.

Flood Relief Drive

The Highland School District is assisting flood victims in Louisiana.  We would love to have your help!

Several families in our district have been affected by tornadoes or floods in recent years and have seen first-hand the devastation natural disasters can cause. Receiving donations in a time of need can keep spirits hopeful.

The people of Louisiana are experiencing great loss and are in desperate need of supplies. The Highland School District is stepping-up to help out.  We challenge you to do the same!

Elementary students are bringing needed items and stuffing the bus.
Stuff the bus
You can help too! The bus will be open from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. during school this week. A list of requested items is below.
